Summer in the Park

Summer in the Park returns this summer with a FREE programme of activities designed to bring people together, get active and make the most of the school holidays at Brent Cross Town.

Join us in Claremont Park for a season of play, movement and creativity. From high-energy skateboarding, football, basketball and parkour to hands-on arts and crafts workshops, there’s something for all ages to enjoy. Adults can unwind with free yoga and Pilates in the Visitor Pavilion, offering a chance to relax, recharge and connect with others.

Adults can also take part in The Play-Offs at The 108 – a social sports series featuring padel, baseball batting cages and bootcamp challenges in a fun, music-filled atmosphere. No experience is needed, just enthusiasm to get involved.

Alongside Summer in the Park, enjoy Summer in the Square in Neighbourhood Square, featuring live music, street food, games and creative activities throughout the summer.

All activities apart from The Play-Offs and Cuppa Club are FREE. Please refer to the individual activity listings below for booking information, as some sessions require advance booking while others are available on a drop-in basis.

The Play-Offs at The 108

Take on a series of fun sporting challenges in this social summer competition for adults.

The Play-Offs at The 108

Join us this August for The Play-Offs: high-energy social sports sessions designed for adults of all abilities.

Across 90 action-packed minutes, you'll rotate through a series of challenges, including padel, baseball batting and a bootcamp-style fitness circuit, all set to music in a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

The session begins with a group warm-up and briefing before teams move through a variety of sporting stations. Compete for fun, challenge yourself or climb the optional leaderboard, with prizes available throughout the event.

Sign up on your own or with friends and enjoy an afternoon of sport, fitness and friendly competition.

Across June, July and August, join us in the sunshine for sizzling street food, live music and creative drop-ins.

Summer in the Square

Neighbourhood Square is the place to be this summer. Join us Wednesday to Sunday for a rotating line-up of local food vendors, free lawn games and live music every weekend - plus drop-in art workshops throughout August with London-based artist Samme Snow. Whether it's a date night or a family afternoon, there's something for everyone.

Food vendors: Wed–Fri 5–9pm, Sat–Sun 12–9pm

Live music: Sat–Sun 1–2.30pm and 6–8.30pm

Lawn games: Thu–Sun 10am–5pm

Start your weekend with a refreshing practice designed to awaken the body and clear the mind. Through gentle movement, balance work and mindful breathing, you'll build strength, improve mobility and leave feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead.

Sunday Evening Unwind – Release and Reset

Slow down and finish the week with a calming, restorative session focused on relaxation and recovery. Gentle floor-based movements, breath-work and guided relaxation help ease physical tension, reduce stress and support a sense of balance and wellbeing.

Suitable for a range of ages and abilities, these sessions are designed to build confidence, coordination, resilience and fitness while encouraging creativity and movement.

Unwind at the end of the week with a free 55-minute Mat Pilates class at the Visitor Pavilion.

This is the perfect introduction to Pilates, welcoming and suitable for all levels, whether you're completely new to the practice or looking to build on existing experience.

Follow instructor Laura Pelinski, Head of Education and Teacher at el Estudio, alongside other experienced instructors from the team. Laura is a fully certified STOTT Pilates Trainer with more than 26 years of teaching behind her. She brings her expertise to Brent Cross Town ahead of el Estudio's opening this autumn.

Designed to improve strength, mobility, posture and overall wellbeing, these classes offer a supportive environment to move, stretch and recharge at the end of the working week.

Arts & Crafts with Anna van der Poorten

Celebrate flowers, wildlife and the natural world through a series of fun, hands-on workshops.

Create flower-themed artwork, design handmade fans, make bee and butterfly-inspired hats and masks, experiment with clay modelling, craft puppets and nature collages, and contribute to a giant community artwork made from willow and tissue paper flowers. Each session offers the chance to explore different materials, express your creativity and take home your own unique creations.

Learn new skills, build confidence and experience the thrill of skateboarding.

Skateboarding with Keep Rolling Project

Keep Rolling Project returns to Brent Cross Town this summer with a series of skateboard coaching sessions for all experience levels. Children new to skateboarding are encouraged to join the First Timers programme, providing a fun and supportive introduction to the sport. Participants who complete several beginner sessions can work towards the Skateboard GB Cruiser Award before progressing to more advanced coaching. Dedicated girls-only sessions are also available.

All sessions are led by qualified coaches who are DBS checked, first aid trained and experienced in supporting young skaters. Skateboards and safety equipment are provided.
