The balmy days and luxuriously long evenings of summer have returned to Brent Cross Town – and you can bet we’re celebrating!

Across June, July and August, join us in the sunshine for sizzling street food, live music and creative drop-ins.

Whether you’re enjoying a Saturday date night or bringing the whole family for an afternoon of playful fun, we’ll see you in Neighbourhood Square this summer.

Here’s what to look out for:

'Create' with Samme Snow

London-based artist and illustrator Samme Snow will help you to unleash a little creativity throughout August with his free series of relaxed workshops, Create. Drop in, explore your imaginative side and make your own artworks to take home – all in Neighbourhood Square!

Create and Connect

Meet friends and neighbours at the creative residency kick-off event at a welcoming community art day. Think colouring, drawing and an evolving collaborative artwork created by visitors.

Create a Canvas

Grab a blank canvas and experiment with colours and shapes under Samme’s friendly guidance. Take your finished bespoke canvas home to hang on your wall.

Create a Character

A playful workshop focused on imagination and storytelling. Samme will share his step-by-step process to help you design, draw, and name your very own illustrated character.

Make your mark on the final collaborative masterpiece! Help us paint a massive canvas roll that will be gifted to the local estate as a permanent, lasting community artwork.

About Samme Snow

Samme Snow is a a London-based artist and illustrator with over 14 years of independent practice spanning murals, prints, digital art, and product design. His bold colours and joyful, hand-drawn characters inspire connection and playfulness. Samme specialises in open, highly accessible workshops that invite people of all ages to draw together.

Live music every weekend

Is it really summer without a festival feel in the air? Come down to Neighbourhood Square for our live music sessions and soak up the sounds of summer, from laid-back lunchtime sets to lively evening performances.

Only Jerkin 

Only Jerkin’ celebrates Caribbean culture with flavorful food, inspired by traditional family recipes and childhood kitchen experiences. Their chicken is marinated for 48 hours, triple-dipped in seasoned flour and batters, and served with homemade sauces, fries, and slaw.

Sen Noods

Two friends from school aim to share the noodles they grew up eating and love to make. They aspire to create both traditional and non-traditional noodle soups, incorporating locally sourced ingredients into their East Asian inspired dishes during their travels.
