Explore Art in Barnet

Golders Hill Girl, Golders hill park (Brent Cross Town)

Research has shown that public art offers many community-building benefits, which is why we at Brent Cross Town are collaborating with a number of artists to bring unique pieces to the area. With so many installations already available to discover in Barnet, from war memorials and homages to famous local residents such as Spike Milligan, to thought-inspiring 20th century sculpture, there’s no reason not to get outside to explore them for yourself.

As Barnet prepares its bid to become the London Borough of Culture in 2027, we’re highlighting some of the fantastic and inspiring public art on display locally. Don’t forget that you can support the bid by completing this questionnaire before 29 September. The information you share will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of the culture strategy.
