The 108, Brent Cross Town’s new indoor baseball and softball facility, the first of its kind in Europe, is now open to the public. The centre welcomes players of every age, and anyone can book 30-minute or one-hour sessions in their state-of-the-art batting cages, which fire baseballs or softballs at four different speeds, allowing everyone from experienced players to absolute beginners to have fun and hone their skills.

Alongside the batting cages, the 40,000 sq ft indoor space allows year-round practice and training for professional teams and elite players as well as youth and social games.

Around 20,000 people in the UK now play either baseball or softball, and more than 110,000 of us watched the Chicago Cubs play the St. Louis Cardinals at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park’s London Stadium last summer.

The 108’s hopes to increase the nation’s love of baseball, supporting the grassroots growth of the game, connecting to the growing national network of clubs, and accelerating elite and Olympic-level performance.

The facility also sells baseball merchandise and includes an American BBQ restaurant, Smoke & Bones, a café, and a sports bar showing baseball games, allowing visitors to enjoy baseball as spectators as well as practitioners. There’s also a party and event space for hire.

The 108 is a 2 minute walk from Brent Cross West station and is open on weekdays from 4pm – 9pm and on weekends from 9am – 10pm.
