A project led by Barnet Council in partnership with Network Rail, the opening of this brand new mainline station means being able to travel between Brent Cross Town and St. Pancras International Station in as little as 12 minutes, and to destinations north of London.

The area surrounding St. Pancras International and King’s Cross is known as The Knowledge Quarter and comprises some of the world’s most influential organisations, including University College London, The London School of Economics, and Central St. Martins. The proximity of these institutions to Brent Cross Town’s business and innovation district means that it will be easy for office occupiers to form meaningful relationships with them.

The station’s overbridge, the first pedestrian access across this stretch of the Midland Line since it was built 150 years ago, links Brent to Barnet, making the facilities of Brent Cross Town accessible to even more local people, and allowing more sustainable travel around the area.

The station itself, bathed in natural light and with a timber-rich, plant-filled interior, is a thoughtfully designed, calming transport hub, in keeping with Brent Cross Town’s pledges to enhance wellbeing and provide better connections for all who will live and work there.
