Summer in the Square

All summer long, we’ve enjoyed sizzling street food and family games here in Brent Cross Town. And as far as we’re concerned, summer’s not quite over yet!

Whether you’re enjoying a relaxed Saturday date night or bringing the whole family for an afternoon of playful fun, we’ll see you in Neighbourhood Square over September.

Alfresco street food from around the world

Throughout the summer, we’ve welcomed an incredible line-up of food vendors to Neighbourhood Square. As the programme comes to a close, there are just a couple more Saturdays left to enjoy our fantastic traders before the season ends.
Street Food weekly line up: Saturday 12 and 19 September:
12 September, 12 – 9pm
Only Jerkin’ 
Only Jerkin’ celebrates Caribbean culture with flavourful food, inspired by traditional family recipes and childhood kitchen experiences. Their chicken is marinated for 48 hours, triple-dipped in seasoned flour and batters, and served with homemade sauces, fries, and slaw.
Ehla
Since 2018, Ehla has been serving London healthy, fresh, and vibrant Eastern Mediterranean food. Founded by Melisa, who infuses family recipes from Northern Cyprus, Ehla offers delicious vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and meat options, catering to diverse tastes across London and the UK.
19 September, 12 – 9pm
Emerald Eats
One day Emma, the Emerald Eats founder, overheard people complaining they couldn’t find a chicken fillet roll in London. She knew their pain well and decided if you want something done right, do it yourself! From there, Emerald Eats has broadened its menu to offer a range of dishes inspired by Ireland.
SEN Noods
SEN Noods is two school friends aiming to share the noodles they grew up eating and love to make. They aspire to create both traditional and non-traditional noodle soups, incorporating locally sourced ingredients into their East Asian inspired dishes.

Family-friendly garden games

Gather friends and family and while away a relaxed, late-summer’s day with free lawn games in Neighbourhood Square, including urban bocce, chess, bean bag toss and quoits.
