LFA Panel Talk: Designing for Wellbeing
Cultivating the wellbeing of our community is at the heart of everything we do in Brent Cross Town. So, we’re thrilled to announce that on 5th June, as part of the London Festival of Architecture, we’re hosting a free event entitled: ‘A Place Where All Can Flourish: Bringing Wellbeing into Placemaking’, one of the festival’s many fantastic events happening in Barnet.
The evening will start with guided tours of Brent Cross West, the sustainably-built, light-filled new station, and The 108, which has transformed a disused warehouse into Europe’s first baseball and softball centre, before heading back to the Visitor Pavilion for a discussion on Brent Cross Town’s Flourishing Index. You can learn more about the Flourishing Index here.
The panel, chaired by Women in Sport’s CEO Stephanie Hilbourne OBE, and featuring members of Barnet Council, Related Argent, Moxon Architects and Manchester University, will discuss how we monitor the impact of our projects and shape our approach in response to the findings.
Tickets are free, but you need to book your space here.
The event runs from 5.30pm-8pm
