The 2023 Brent Cross Town Community Fund is now open, and to celebrate the Fund’s fifth anniversary we’re marking this milestone in two special ways.

Applications close on Monday 19th June 2023

To celebrate The Brent Cross Town Community Fund’s fifth year, a total fund of £50,000 will be available to the successful 2023 projects, £10,000 of which will be a special fifth anniversary pot of funding that the local community will allocate to their favourite projects via ‘people’s project’ awards.

This year’s fund is offering grants of £500-£5,000 to new or existing local initiatives that boost local wellbeing and create flourishing communities.

This year, the Fund hopes to reach even more people across the community. It will be focused on supporting groups that provide grassroots climate education or promote a carbon net zero community; those that help improve health and wellness; and those that promote an inclusive and socially connected community.

The Fund is also keen to hear from projects that are helping communities to tackle the cost of living crisis.

Local people will be able to vote on the ‘people’s project’ award from early July – watch this space to find out how you can get involved.

The Fund hopes to support new groups and are also keen to hear from projects who have won grants before and need more funding to continue making a difference.

Groups eligible for the grant include:

– Formal and informal community groups
– Local charities and local branches of national charities
– Schools and educational organisations
– Not-for-profit organisations
– Residents associations
