You may have noticed the frame of a timber building shooting up on our construction site off Claremont Way.
This is our visitor pavilion, opening later this year. The design by Moxon Architects uses glulam beams and cross-laminated timber to reduce the building’s carbon footprint. Cross-laminated timber is a high-tech wood product that’s safer than steel and up to 80% lighter. Learn more about why we’re using it here.
