The Barnet Nightingales’ Girls Football Academy

Barnet Nightingales Football Academy sponsored by Brent Cross Town (Brent Cross Town)

The era of football as a boys-only sport is fading fast – a global audience of 50 million tuned in to watch the Lionesses Euro 2022 win, forever banishing the concept of a lack of interest in women’s football and turning a generation of girls into aspiring footballers.

So, Brent Cross Town is thrilled to announce that it’s sponsoring the Barnet Nightingales Football Club‘s free football academy.

The community training programme offers daily football classes for girls aged 6 – 16, with every session led by a UEFA qualified coach. Players from London City Lionesses, London’s first independent fully professional women’s club, are also on hand to offer expert advice and guidance.

Every week until 31 August 2023, Barnet Nightingales will hold 10 free football coaching sessions, open to all 6 – 16 year old girls. Whether they’re absolute beginners or skilled players, girls are invited to book a session and come along. There’s no limit to the amount of sessions you can book.
