Our First Office Building is Under Construction

Construction of 3 Copper Square Brent Cross Town (Brent Cross Town)

With seven incredible residential buildings underway, Brent Cross Town is already on track to become a wonderful place to live. We’re now starting construction on our first commercial building, meaning it will soon be an exciting new place to work too.

Located immediately adjacent to Brent Cross West station, which provides 8 trains an hour to St. Pancras International in as little as 12 minutes, it forms the cornerstone of a new business and innovation district that will extend to 3m sq ft and create workspace for 25,000 people, alongside the 6,700 new homes, student housing, homes for later living, new high street, three schools and 50 acres of parks and playing fields that together make up the net zero park town.

3 Copper Square will offer 239,000 ft of office space over 14 floors, with retail units on the ground floor selling healthy grab-and-go options.

Sheffield Hallam University will occupy the first six floors of the building as part of its London campus, bringing world-class higher education and an influx of new talent to the area. The rest of the building is still available for new tenants.

The University’s London campus will provide tailored support to help businesses to innovate, offering access to academics and highly skilled graduates. Strengthened connections between London and South Yorkshire will also create new opportunities for trade and collaboration.

Designed by shedkm architects, with BAM as the main contractor, the hybrid cross-laminated timber and concrete building has excellent environmental credentials, including 100% renewable electricity and low carbon heating and cooling provided by one of Europe’s largest electric district energy networks, developed in partnership with Vattenfall.

Exposed timber soffits will soften the lighting and acoustics of the space, giving the offices a natural feel and providing creative, flexible workspaces.

3 Brent Cross Town Terrace (Brent Cross Town)

The building’s expansive, double-height reception offers easy access to the entrance of Brent Cross West station, while a range of private and communal terraces on its upper floors and a striking penthouse with a double-height vaulted roof provide views across north and central London.

3 Copper Square is scheduled to open in the summer of 2026, while the first residents will move into Brent Cross Town later this year.
