Brent Cross Town is thrilled to invite you to the official opening of Neighbourhood Square and The Fountain, a brand-new public space designed to bring people together in the heart of the community. At its centre stands The Fountain, a dramatic, cascading water feature inspired by the elegance of European plazas. It’s set to become a landmark meeting point for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.

To celebrate this milestone, we’re hosting an evening packed with live entertainment and activities. The incredible BIG Gospel Choir known for their powerful performances and appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, will be bringing their signature energy and soul. Joining them is Big Smoke Brass, a vibrant London-based brass band whose upbeat, roaming performances are guaranteed to get the crowd moving.

The highlight of the evening will be the official switch-on of The Fountain. There’ll be plenty to enjoy throughout the evening, including food and drink, a fireworks display, glitter face painting for children, and classic treats like popcorn and candy floss. Guests can also explore a portrait photography exhibition celebrating the spirit and diversity of our local community.

This is a special moment for Brent Cross Town, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Be Part of the Portrait Series

You’re invited to take part in a special portrait photography series commissioned to celebrate the opening of Neighbourhood Square. The series will showcase the vibrant character of our community, and all participants will receive a digital copy of their portrait.

For those who want to make their mark locally, portraits can also be included in a public exhibition at the opening celebration on 23 October. Inspired by the tradition of making a wish at a fountain, we’ll also be inviting participants to share their wishes for the future of Brent Cross Town as part of the project.

Portraits will be taken on 14 October by renowned photographer Cesare di Giglio and as a thank you, everyone who takes part will receive a beautiful digital portrait to treasure
