Happy Face Pizza Heads North with New Brent Cross Town opening
Happy Face Pizza opens next week on Claremont Way. Kicking off with a soft launch on Tuesday 12th April where there will be a complimentary Negroni cocktail (or juice for kids) alongside a free slice of pizza between 4-6 pm for the day. There will also be 50% off the final bill for all online bookings for the launch week, 12th -18th April.
Neapolitan pizza experts Happy Face Pizza has venues at King’s Cross and Victoria and are already firm London foodie favourites. Visitors to their new Claremont Way home can look forward to the same awesome combination of great music and a mouth-watering menu of authentic pizzas, all lovingly hand-made with a signature 72-hour fermented dough for the perfect light and fluffy crust. Those looking for gluten-free and vegan options will not be disappointed, while a roster of traditional Italian antipasti and sharing starters, indulgent and iconic desserts are available alongside the pizza menu — plus there’s a fully stocked bar of Italian wines, beers, and cocktails.
Happy Face Pizza’s unmissable menu has been perfected by chef Mario Mastrangelo, who was born in Salerno, a town just outside Naples in Southern Italy — the home of Neapolitan pizza! From a young age, it was clear that he was destined for a career in the pizza trade. Aged just 14, he began honing his skills locally before heading to Venice to study at the acclaimed Accademia Pizzaioli, where he then became a Master of Pizza Training. Mario moved to the UK in 2013 before spending a year at the famous PizzAperta Manfredi in Sydney and then returned to London as Head Chef at Radio Alice. After a short stint at Piccolino, Mario joined the team that opened Happy Face Pizza in King’s Cross in 2018, where he remains Executive Chef along with the two additional sites in Victoria and Brent Cross Town.
