Summer Events: Skateboarding with Keep Rolling Project
Keep Rolling Project will run a series of kids skateboarding workshops in Claremont Park for kids aged 8-16, suitable for new skaters and absolute beginners. The workshops will take place on 22 and 29 July, 5 August and 2 September.
Keep Rolling Project aims to empower young people through skateboarding. They’ve run workshops in some of the world’s most troubled places, using their sessions not only to teach the kids to skate but to help improve their resilience, self-esteem and coping mechanisms.

Time: Workshops will run from 12-3pm with three separate sessions:
12-1pm Skateboarding Taster Session: these sessions are great for those stepping on a board for the first time or for anyone lacking confidence with the basic skills of pushing and turning.
1-2pm Mixed Beginners: for those who know how to push or attended our taster sessions last summer and now want to advance their skillset with basic ramp riding and their first tricks such as the ollie.
2-3 pm Girls Only Session: a chance for girls of mixed abilities to come together and build resilience and confidence through skateboarding.
Keep Rolling pride themselves on running smaller group lessons that are proven to be more engaging and fun! Spaces are limited so please book here.
Note: If the weather is bad and the ground is wet then lessons may be postponed so please be mindful of the weather.
